Russia and Ukraine carried out the newest in sequence of prisoner of battle exchanges on Saturday, with each side returning round 50 folks, officers in Moscow and Kyiv stated.
Ukraine’s navy intelligence directorate reported the return of 52 detainees, amongst them troopers, sailors, border guards, nationwide guard members and medical doctors.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that since March, Russia had freed a complete of 1,031 prisoners.
“We bear in mind all those that are held captive in Russia and on occupied territory and can do every thing to make sure that each one is returned,” he stated in a video tackle.
Russia’s defence ministry stated Ukraine handed over 50 prisoners of battle after talks.
