
A Lufthansa flight from Los Angeles to Frankfurt, Germany, made an unscheduled touchdown at Chicago’s O’Hare Worldwide Airport after a passenger’s laptop computer caught fireplace, the airline stated.
Monday evening’s touchdown at O’Hare was a precautionary step after an overheated laptop computer brought about a small fireplace within the passenger cabin, the airline stated.
The hearth was out by the point the airplane made a protected touchdown, WLS-TV reported.
Not one of the passengers had been injured, however two flight attendants had been handled for smoke inhalation following the “unscheduled touchdown,” Lufthansa stated in an announcement.
