At the least 13 folks have died in a fireplace at a nightclub within the Russian metropolis of Kostroma, the area’s governor mentioned on Saturday.
Kostroma is about 300 kilometres north-east of Moscow.
“Based on preliminary info, 13 folks had been killed within the hearth. The data is being up to date,” governor Sergey Sitnikov mentioned.
5 folks had been injured and have obtained medical help, he added.
He mentioned the hearth had been extinguished as of seven:29 a.m. native time.
